Vision and Mission

  • Hold periodical meeting and conferences for the members of the dental profession in general.
  • Publish and circulate journals / Newsletters which shall the official voice of the association, being especially adapted to the need of the dental profession in india and which shall undertake publicity and propaganda work of the Association through its columns.
  • Maintain an Association office or offices as herein after words provided.
  • Encourage the opining of libraries in state & procure other relevant material, book ect out of the funds of the Association and from donations it receives.
  • Publish from time to time papers embodying dental research , conducted by members independently or under the auspices of the Association.
  • Encourage research and continuing dental education in the dental and sciences, with grants from the funds of the Association, by establishment of scholarship ,prize or awards , in such manner as may from time to time be determined by the Association , Maintain contact with national and international association having similar objectives.
  • Conduct an educational campaign amongst the massage state on the matter of oral hygiene, by cooperation with different public bodies working with similar objectives.
  • Consider and express views on all question pertaining to the Indian legislation affecting public health , dental professions and dental education and take such from time regarding the same ,as shall be deemed expedient and necessary.
  • Grant the 'IDA Seal of Acceptance' to oral health products, dental Instruments, equipment and material with regard to their safety. Efficacy and quality in the interest of the dental profession and the public . This authority is vested with the central Council Only.
  • Represent the interest of the dental fraternity. To pied for and to protect its rights. To secure all benefit for its members, to defend their right and also to liaison with central Government /state Government and various appropriate bodies.
  • Do all such things s are cognate to the objectives of the Association or are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objectives.
  • Safeguard the professional interest and social security of the individual member as a consumer.
  • Co- operate with other specialty societies and associations having similar objectives.
  • Start and run charitable clinics by itself or by co-operation with other charity organizations or government /semi governments bodies.
